Ordering and Shipping
when you choose the Invoice / Bank Transfer Option, you will receive a Payment request with all data needed for the Items wich are in Stock.
This can be paid by Bank Transfer.
Important: Do not pay before you got a payment request from Thrift Shop.
It will be a lot of work to send money back if an Item is out of Stock, even if marked as available, e.g. by a System Error or a contemporaneous Sale in our Shop.
Non EU or European customers will receive a Paypal Payment request if preferred.
Overseas Customers need to pay via Paypal, as Bank Fees in most cases are much higher than Paypal fees.
EU Customers should choose the Bank Transfer Option, as this, normally doesn't has payment fees.
All Items will be shipped, when all costs are paid.
If there is no payment visible at the Account after 10 day's after the Payment request was sent, we cancel the order to give others the Chance to purchase the Items.
All shippments will be made trackable, means at leas as Registered / Signed For Letter or Packet.
No special shipping wishes as ordinary Letter or small Packet can be accepted for both sides security.
Most of the offered options include a small Insurance if lost, if you like a full Insurance, ask for Details.
All shippings will be made with Deutsche Post or DHL, in some cases we might use Hermes to offer the best Shipping Prices. Especially with the Canges, effective 1.7.2022, we'll use other Couriers on Non-German shippings to reduce the costs for our customers.
Shipping Costs are stated in the ordering Details and wil vary by Destination and Weight. At the moment these are just estimated prices, with the new Prices forced, we might need to change them. You will be informed before you pay for the Order.
Due to changes of shipping Options, we try to offer the best for our Customers, so in some cases we can offer a small Packet Service if the Value of the Content is under 50 Euros what will be covered by an extra insurance.
Especially on bulky shipments, a special fee may have to be added. this will be stated in the Special Instructions send by Thrift Shop after ordering.
From now on, on COD Orders, we give the Customers email-adress to the Tranport Company (mostly DHL) to forward shipping Informations directly to the Customer. This helps to inform them, that a Parcel is on the way.
Sadly a lot of Parcels were returned, because the Customer didn't got a written Info, that A parcel is waiting at the Collection Point, if nobody was home to collect it.
Due to current necessity, the ordering and shipping process is explained again:
1. You find items in our shop
2. You put the items in your shopping cart
3. You order the items online.
(Please note the current Informations on the start page, such as Notice of absence, delays, etc.)
4. You will receive an order confirmation with all details through the shop system.
If you order on prepayment / bank transfer you will NOT pay any money to our account at this point.
As this point often wasn't obeyed in the past, we dond send the IBAN at this point, you'll get it with the availability confirmation.
5. We receive the order, process it and send you a separate availability confirmation.
(This can take a few days, the specified delivery time refers to the time required to prepare the goods in operation,
Transport times by the shipping company are not included here, as we have no influence on it.)
This means for the customer that all listed items are available and ready to ship in this.
6. NOW you can transfer the amount to our bank account, once the amount has been received, the prepared shipment will be sent to the post office and sent.
We kindly ask you to follow this order, as each payment will be charged to us due to new bank fees.
We would like to keep these as low as possible so as not to increase prices.
