This underwear is a replacement for the issue underwear and has reinforcement layers built
into it which gives increased protection to the groin area from injury by fragments.
(It's not necessary to wear both the issue underwear and this underwear)
To make the garment as effective as possible it is important that the underwear is worn with the reinforcement layers on the outside.
To improve hygiene the next to the skin fabric layer has been treated with a finish which will reduce the growth of bacteria but the underwear should be washed when possible.
This underwear will reduce the severity of injuries from fragments.
