Description: Insignia, Organisation, Sleeve. 14th/20th Hussars & Kings Royal Hussars. Aluminium, anodised finish. Silver.
Note: In 1945, C-Squadron, the 20th / 20th cent. Hussars of the King, attacked the city of Medicina in Italy with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Gurkha-Rifles, which inflicted heavy losses on German defenders, although they were outnumbered.
To commemorate this attack was adopted from tradition the badge of the action the hussars of the 14./20. King's Hussars the Kukri badge, which after the disbandment in 1992 is continued by the Kings Royal Hussars.
