General Qualification Badge
Interim Period
Constituted by order No. 19/1991./HM of the Ministry of defence. Abolished by
order No. 104/1992/HK.21/HM of the Minstry of Defence
It was introduced
in metal variant to replace the former academy, college and civilian university
badges, until nthe new system of badges showing qualifications is eveolved.
After its abolition it has become the sign of the professional personnel of the
Hungarian Army in embroidered execution. Members of other armed bodies did also
wear it."
It was worn on the right above the tunic breast pocket. In effect,
since 1992 it has been worn in embroidered cloth, in the same location, by all
members of the Hungarian Armed Forces. Fancy embroidery with sequins for
officers and plain coloured thread for enlisted men and NCOs.
